Latest updates to the FxStat service.

We have improved the streaming of real time position monitoring.  Previously, our real time monitoring provided a price change per second. The updated version provides real time position monitoring per tick for the FxStat tradebook platform.

Please ensure you update your ea after restarting your mt4. Simply click accept auto update and the bridge will automatically adjust to the new version.

We have been receiving many suggestions from our users.  These suggestions have been sent out to us via email, which was not ideal for managing them and following them through.  As such, we have added a ‘suggestions box’ in our forum.  This feature allows our users to forward their suggestions to us in an easy manner and allows other users to view the suggestions and provide their opinion by simply click on Like Icon

Also users will be able to monitor and track the development of each suggested idea and will receive an automated email updating them of any change in the status of the suggestion.

Over 20 numerical & visual stats, and Oanda Broker

We have added a number of new features to the performance pages. These features will allow traders to analyze their trades in greater detail based on symbols, direction and symbols plus direction.

These features, will provide traders with access to over 20 numerical and visual analytics on each symbol and/or direction. This will provide traders with a wider picture of their trading activities and allow them to identify strengths and weaknesses in their portfolio.

You can access these features by:

Oanda Broker:

As some of you might have heard, Oanda Broker will be including the MetaTrader platform as part of their platforms.

Ttraders who use the Oanda MetaTrader platform will be able to analyze their trading activities on FxStat.

As stated on the Onada forum, you can setup the Onada MT4 by:

SET UP OANDA METATRADER 4 (PRACTICE ACCOUNT)

1. Register for OANDA fxTrade Practice, if you haven’t already.

2. After you’ve registered, create an fxTrade Practice account enabled for MT4. (Specify your account details, then check the “Enable this account for MetaTrader 4″ box under Advanced Options.)

3. Download the OANDA MetaTrader 4 software. (This software is the same for both fxTrade and fxTrade Practice; you only need to download it once.)

4. The downloaded exe file will install on any Windows system. Double-click the file from a Windows machine to install the software.

5. Use the account number and password of your MT4- enabled account to sign in to the MetaTrader 4 software. (Be sure to select “OANDA MT4 – Practice” from the list of servers that appears.)

New Features

Risk of Ruin:

This feature will improve the user’s ability to evaluate performance through the use of probabilities. The probabilities will provide users with an indication of the chances of loss in their account. In the example, the chance of losing 10% of the account is 24.23%.

Filter area of Performance search page:

There are two new features in this section:

1. Updated: you will now be able to filter to show only those performances that have been updated in a time period of your choice (currently available from 1 week to 3 months)

2. Verified: a tick in the checkbox will show only the verified accounts. We encourage you to verify your account to ensure that it is visible in the search page.

Fxstat Bridge:

A new icon on the bridge will display the account number and broker name.

Performance page discussion:

We have added performances discussion in the forum.

Each public account will be added as a new topic in this section and available for discussion.

Calculation:

We have made some changes in the fxstat performance page return (gain) calculation to improve the accuracy and reliability of the results with respect to the trader’s activity. The total profit of the traders will be calculated based on each profit/loss generated on each trade against their last existing balance in the account in addition to accounting for any withdrawals and deposits. This will provide an indication of absolute profit for each trade.

Monthly

The monthly return will be based on the difference between the profit/loss within that month against the balance at the beginning of the month. It will also account for any deposits or withdrawals that occurred within the month.

Year to date YTD%

This will be calculated as the difference between the profit/loss within the year against the balance at the beginning of the year. It will also account for any deposits or withdrawals that occurred throughout the year.

Since inception

The total profit/loss since the start of trading activities against the opening balance. Any deposits or withdrawals made within that time will also be accounted for.

Mean:

We have replaced Arithmetic mean with Geometric mean

FXSTAT now offers you its latest Beta version with a wide range of improved as well as new features. The FXSTAT platform now has a new professional theme, which not only makes the website look great, but also makes it even more user-friendly.

What does FXSTAT offer in the latest version?

i. The most important feature Bridge 4.4

In the new version we have added our first real time data analysis and dynamic position monitoring. There is only a minor networking delay of 2-4 seconds. Now if you are an account owner, you can check and analyze your open positions without ever refreshing your performance page.

The new bridge has by far become the best option to connect your account to FXSTAT as it updates the data in real time. Now the bridge encrypts your account number and password and it no longer shows your password when you run it on your mt4.
